Jan. 07--City of Brunswick hosting flood insurance seminar
The City of Brunswick is hosting a flood insurance seminar, sponsored by the insurance company, Flood Insurance Evaluator, from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Old City Hall, 1229 Newcastle Street.
Company representatives will review new laws and regulations that could potentially affect flood insurance policies and will also discuss mitigation. Participants will also have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with a certified floodplain manager about steps to take to lower premiums.
