BRIEF: CareSource to co-host Life Services job fair

Jan. 11--CareSource Life Services, a division of the nonprofit downtown Dayton-based health insurer, CareSource, will host a job fair Friday at the Life Enrichment Center in Dayton.
The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the center at 425 North Findlay Street, where 14 employers, representing a wide range of industries, will be reviewing resumes, pre-screening candidates and conducting on-site interviews, according to a press release.
Several community agencies will also participate in the event -- including the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton and CityWide Development -- which will be on hand to discuss the services they offer.
The event is free and open to the public.
"CareSource Life Services is dedicated to meeting our members where they are to help them reach their goals," said Karin VanZant, executive director of Life Services. "This partnership between local employers and community service organizations allows us to connect individuals seeking careers or resources to organizations who can help."
Employers who have signed up for the event include: Barry Staffing; Bitec; Block by Block; Cabela's; DHL; Meijer Distribution Center; Morris Home Furnishings and Time Warner Cable.
