BRIEF: Apple Health patients have new online access to mental health services
The non-profit insurer has a new online mental health portal to connect people with resources about common mental health conditions and provide information about covered treatment, support groups, hotlines and other resources.
It includes information about common mental health issues faced by kids and teenagers, as well as during and after pregnancy. There's also a provider search option that allows people to look for counselors, social workers, chemical dependency providers and psychiatrists who are taking new Medicaid patients.

"Too often, people are unable or unwilling to get help because of the perceived stigma associated with these conditions and challenges navigating the care system," she said.
Though designed for members, the resources are open to anyone and don't require a log in to access.
