Botanical Craft Brings Clinically Effective Anti-Aging Supplement to the Market

PR Newswire

PORTLAND, Ore., March 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Natural supplement company Botanical Craft launches Palm Fruit™ liquid capsules, a phytonutrient supplement that has been proven to slow and reverse the aging process. (1)

Palm Fruit™ contains dozens of phytonutrients, including fat-soluble antioxidants such as tocotrienols, tocopherols, and carotenoids all obtained from the oil-based palm fruit (Elaeis guineensis).

Over the last two decades, over 35 human clinical studies have uncovered the unique anti-aging properties of palm-based phytonutrients, with the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) granting over $2.5 million to support the research. (2) The palm-based tocotrienols and carotenoids have been found to boost the skin's natural defense against UVA and UVB rays, prevent DNA damage associated with aging, and trigger the regrowth of hair on the scalp in those suffering from hair loss. (3–5)

"I originally imported the palm fruit extract in 2006 as a natural remedy for my mother's hair loss after hearing about the emerging research," said Potratz, product formulator for Botanical Craft. "After seeing the results my mother experienced, I started selling the palm fruit extract, and continued to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback."

In 2012, Eric Potratz teamed up with investor Dustin McCluskey to launch Palm Fruit™ under the brand Botanical Craft. "We originally launched Palm Fruit™ as a mixable powder, but it was messy and difficult to use," explained McCluskey. "We went back to the drawing board, improved virtually every aspect of the product, and are now relaunching with the new Palm Fruit™ liquid capsules."

Nutritional scientists have found that the average daily adult diet, which includes several servings of fruits and vegetables, only provides about 2 mg per day of tocotrienols, and about 10 mg per day of carotenoids. (6) Yet, clinical research shows that the ideal intake of these nutrients is at least 160 mg, and 30 mg per day, respectively. (1, 3–5) Palm Fruit™ delivers this clinically effective dose in two capsules, and is currently the only product in the world to deliver such a dose.

The phytonutrients are extracted from red palm oil through a patented vacuum distillation process that produces a finished phytonutrient extract 250 times more concentrated than the fresh palm fruit. "You'd have to drink an entire cup of red palm oil to get the same dose of phytonutrients in two capsules of Palm Fruit™," added Potratz.

"There are hundreds of anti-aging supplements on the market, many of which are just sprinkled with miniscule amounts of buzzword ingredients for marketing appeal," explained McCluskey. "Although our product has a high production cost, we know that we are delivering a supplement that is supported by more human clinical research than any other product on the market."

Each batch of Palm Fruit™ is tested for purity, identity, and strength; and is produced in a GMP and NSF certified facility in the USA. Palm Fruit™ is NON-GMO Project Verified, vegan certified, hypoallergenic, and free of all additives. "We go beyond GMP and verify that each batch is free of dangerous pesticides, solvents, and other potential contaminates. We also protect the active ingredients from oxygen throughout the entire supply-chain to ensure maximum freshness," added Potratz.

Palm Fruit™ slows the aging process for men and women of any age, and Botanical Craft believes it will be a household staple in the near future. "We might be the first on the market with a clinically relevant palm fruit extract, but we certainly won't be the last," said Potratz.

Palm Fruit™ can be purchased on amazon.com or directly from botanicalcraft.com on a monthly subscription.
