blinkx plc Appoints Judy Vezmar To Board of Directors

LONDON and SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- blinkx plc ("blinkx" or the "Company") today announced the appointment of LexisNexis International Chief Executive Officer Judy Vezmar¹ as an Independent Non-executive Director.  Ms. Vezmar brings over two decades of successful international expansion, digital content distribution and marketing, business transformation, and Board experiences to blinkx.  

Based in London, Judy leads LexisNexis International.  LexisNexis^® is a member of the global media group Reed Elsevier plc, a leading worldwide provider of content-enabled workflow solutions for professionals in the legal, risk management, corporate, government, law enforcement, accounting and academic markets. Under her leadership, the International group transformed the business from a traditional print based publisher to an online and digital solutions leader, expanding the range of successful content and online services to over 100 countries. Earlier, Ms. Vezmar held various senior executive roles at Xerox Corporation in the US and Europe.  Ms. Vezmar has served as a Non-executive Director of Rightmove plc since 2006.  She holds an Executive MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Marian College and Butler University.
