Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Names Kelly Perry as Head of Underwriting Support, Surety

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) today announced that it has named Kelly Perry to the newly created position of Vice President, Head of Underwriting Support for its Surety business.

“Kelly has been pivotal in collaborating with our underwriters to provide customers with thoughtful and consistent long-term surety solutions,” said Geoff Delisio, Head of Surety at BHSI. “In her new role, she will continue to use her formidable legal acumen and expertise to support our underwriters and our customers in fulfilling surety requirements, while also building out our underwriting support team to accommodate our growing portfolio of large, sophisticated customers.”

Kelly has more than 25 years of surety claims experience, and has been instrumental in leading and building BHSI’s surety claims team since its inception. She joined BHSI in 2017 as AVP, Surety Claims, and was later named VP, Global Head of Surety Claims. Prior to BHSI, she spent more than a decade as Surety Claims Manager and Senior Claim Counsel at other insurers.
