AXIS Capital Holdings Limited Redeems All Outstanding 7.50% Series B Preferred Shares

PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AXIS Capital Holdings Limited (“AXIS Capital”) (NYSE:AXS) today announced that it will redeem 28,430 of its 7.50% Series B Preferred Shares, par value $0.0125 per share and liquidation preference $100.00 per share (the “Preferred Shares”), constituting all of its outstanding Preferred Shares, representing $2,843,000 in aggregate liquidation preference of Preferred Shares, on January 27, 2016 (the “Redemption Date”) at a redemption price equal to $100.00 per Preferred Share, plus all declared and unpaid dividends, through the Redemption Date.

Payment of the redemption price will be made upon presentation and surrender of the Preferred Shares during usual business hours at the offices of the Transfer Agent and Registrar with respect to the Preferred Shares, Computershare Trust Company, N.A.
