Assurant Announces Pricing of Secondary Public Offering of Common Stock by TPG Capital

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Assurant, Inc. (NYSE:AIZ) (the “Company” or “Assurant”), a global provider of risk management solutions, today announced the pricing of an underwritten secondary public offering of all of the remaining 7,869,230 shares of its common stock held by certain affiliates of TPG Global, LLC, at $98.70 per share. These shares were originally part of the 10,069,230 shares issued to certain affiliates of TPG Global, LLC for the purchase of The Warranty Group in May 2018. Assurant will not sell any shares in the offering and will not receive any proceeds from the offering. The offering is expected to close on March 21, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is acting as the underwriter for the offering.
