ASBO International and Security Benefit Announce New Partnership

ASHBURN, Virginia, Sept. 24 -- The Association of School Business Officials International issued the following news release:

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) is pleased to announce that Security Benefit is the new sponsor of the Emerging Leaders Scholarship program. The program recognizes newer school business professionals and helps them develop into tomorrow's leaders by strengthening their connection to the profession.

Each year, 18 scholarship recipients who have been in the profession for five years or fewer are awarded $2,000 scholarships to cover ASBO International membership dues as well as registration and travel expenses to attend ASBO International's Annual Conference & Expo. Since 2004, the program has awarded 280 scholarships and continues to grow in recognition and prestige throughout the industry.
