Applied CSR24 Transactions Experience 50 Percent Year-over-Year Growth, More than 12 Million Transactions Conducted in 2014

Business Wire

Continued adoption driven by growing demand for online client self-service

UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Applied Systems today announced that total transactions on Applied CSR24, the leading online self-service application, grew more than 50 percent from 2013 to 2014, totaling more than 12 million transactions across more than 1,000 insurance agency and brokerage customers in the U.S., UK, and Canada at year end. Transactions on the application include certificate processing and insured interactions such as requesting changes to a policy or obtaining an Auto ID card. As demand for online self-service has increased, Applied CSR24 adoption has steadily grown by more than 50 percent each year since 2011.

Applied CSR24, the leading online client self- service software, enables agencies and brokerages to meet today’s insurance consumer demand for anywhere, anytime access to information by providing 24/7 access to insurance policy information, claims filing and processing, and insurance documents through a custom-branded client portal available on a computer, tablet or smartphone. Applied CSR24 seamlessly integrates with agency and brokerage management systems, reducing manual administrative tasks and allowing agents and brokers to devote more time to serving customers and securing new business. Applied CSR24 streamlines premium certificate processing, management and distribution, enabling staff to reduce time spent through batch processing and client specific certificate template management functionality. By providing greater flexibility and servicing options, agencies and brokerages can increase client satisfaction, build client loyalty, and deliver a more competitive business proposition.

“Changing consumer demand is evolving the insurance industry into a more connected and complex marketplace, requiring leading independent insurance agents to leverage software that enables multichannel servicing and streamlines business operations,” said Michael Howe, senior vice president of product management, Applied Systems. “Applied CSR24 has become an essential solution for agencies and brokerages to elevate their competitive value by delivering an online customer experience anywhere, anytime, while simultaneously automating business operations for improved overall productivity.”

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG), an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, recently surpassed more than two million transactions with Applied CSR24, and Crystal & Company, a leading strategic risk and insurance advisor, also joined a growing group that has processed more than one million insurance transactions with the application.

“Business without barriers is the moto of our company, underscoring our commitment to delivering superior solutions and service to meet the unique needs of each of our clients,” said Karen Gormley, director of Agency Business Systems at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. “With Applied CSR24, we are able to enhance our online customer experience while simultaneously streamlining our renewal and premium certificate processing operations, allowing our staff to focus more time on developing specialized services to drive business growth and profitability.”

“With Applied CSR24, we provide our clients the multichannel servicing capabilities they expect with access to their insurance information when and where they need it,” said Lou Roca, executive managing director of Crystal & Company. “The certificate processing significantly reduces administrative costs and tasks at our firm and allows the staff to focus more on our clients and growing our business.”
