Aon Launches Marine Client Advisory Board to Drive Client Innovation

LONDON, 3 August 2023 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today named James Fogarty as global head of marine for the firm's Reinsurance Solutions, effective immediately.

Based in New York, Fogarty will be responsible for Aon's global network of marine reinsurance colleagues and clients. In this new role, he will further integrate Aon's broad suite of analytics capabilities into the marine reinsurance marketplace. Fogarty joined Aon in 2004 and was most recently a managing director, responsible for U.S. specialty lines, including marine, energy, aviation, construction and property retrocession.

In collaboration with Lee Meyrick, CEO of global marine and global industry specialty leader for transportation and logistics in Aon's Commercial Risk Solutions, Fogarty will launch a new Marine Client Advisory Board. Together, as part of Aon's Risk Capital approach, they will drive leadership across marine segments, delivering insight on managing emerging risks facing the sector. This will bring together marine industry clients across insurance and reinsurance to utilize common tools and help make better informed decisions on risk management and transfer.
