Andrew Callaghan named vice president and Illinois branch manager

ERIE, Pa., Jan. 7, 2025 - Erie Insurance (ERIE) has named Andrew Callaghan vice president and Illinois branch manager, effective Jan. 9. Callaghan has served as senior district sales manager in ERIE'sTennessee branch for the past seven years.
Callaghan began his insurance career as a producer and commercial accounts specialist at Great Lakes Insurance Services in Erie, Pa. As a district sales manager at Erie Insurance since 2017, he served as the ERIE Sales and Marketing Employee task force lead, as well as a mentor in the ERIE Agent Principal Development Program. He also previously led the Tennessee Branch inteprogram.
Prior to joining Erie Insurance, Callaghan coached collegiate ice hockey at Iowa State University. He's a graduate of Iowa State where he earned a master's degree in Business Management and Leadership and he holds a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Towson University. He also earned the insurance designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and is currently pursuing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Callaghan is also active in his local community, serving as a board member for the Tennessee Special Olympics Young Professionals and as a coach in the Nashville Jr. Predators AAA hockey program.
