Kate Weissman was 30 when doctors found the tumor. Three years ago, as she began preparing for the treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital she thought would save her life, UnitedHealthcare refused to cover the $95,000 bill. The March lawsuit, filed in federal court in Boston, seeks class-action status.
