AmeriHealth New Jersey to Host a Series of Open Enrollment Events for Consumers Across the State
Managed Care Weekly Digest
By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Managed Care Weekly Digest -- AmeriHealth New Jersey is hosting a series of Open Enrollment events in communities across the state. The information sessions, geared towards education as well as assisting individuals with Open Enrollment, are an effort to offset government cuts to navigator funding, which helped people enroll in health plans on the exchange in years past (see also AmeriHealth New Jersey).
"Consumers should feel confident when they enroll in a health plan and we're here to help them understand their options so they can choose a plan that is best for them and their families," said Ryan Petrizzi, vice president of sales. "With just under six weeks left to enroll, we hope consumers will take advantage of these information sessions and find them valuable as they consider their options."
The events will cover various topics related to health insurance literacy, including how to sign up for health insurance, key terms to understand when choosing a plan, how to apply for a tax subsidy, and benefits usage.
