American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation Donates $35,000 for Midwest Flood Relief

MADISON, Wisconsin, March 21 -- American Family Insurance issued the following news release:
The American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation is donating $10,000 to the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation to support farmers, ranchers, and rural communities across the flood-ravaged state. The Foundation is donating another $25,000 to the Red Cross to support relief efforts in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
"We are devastated by the recent flooding that has hit the heart of our country." said Judd Schemmel, Associate Vice President of Community Investment at American Family Insurance. "We want to help those affected by this tragedy and this is an opportunity for us to support communities when they need it most."
American Family is encouraging employees and agents who make donations to qualified flood relief organizations to use the company's matching gift program.
American Family claims adjusters are responding to the historic spring floods and other storms affecting thousands of residents and customers across the Midwest.
