Register at http://www.ambest.com/webinars/ILS19.
Panelists include:
- Emmanuel Modu, managing director, AM Best; and
-
Wai Tang , director, AM Best.
While AM Best analysts rely upon Best’s Credit Rating Methodology to rate all insurance companies, some additional issues are considered in the rating process for ILS affiliated reinsurers. For example, analysts review funding agreements between the ILS funds and the transformer; trust agreements between the rated entity and the transformer, collateral release provisions, agreements that outline 'clawback' provisions, the alignment of interests among various parties involved in the rated collateralized reinsurance company and other significant elements specific to collateralized reinsurers.
Attendees can submit questions during registration or by emailing [email protected]. The event will be streamed in video and audio formats, and playback will be available to registered viewers shortly after the event.
