Alera Group Expands Nationwide Footprint with Six New Acquisitions
Deerfield, IL (January 26, 2021) — Alera Group, a top independent, national insurance and wealth services firm, announced today the acquisition of six agencies: Cate-Russell, Foa & Son, Gales Agency, Heritage Risk Management, Vital Incite and Webber & Grinnell. Effective December 31, 2021, the addition of the new locations will bolster services and expertise across wealth services, property and casualty insurance and employee benefits solutions.
Here’s a glance at Alera Group’s new locations:
- Cate-Russell Insurance, an independent insurance agency offering business, personal and benefits insurance. Based in Maryville, Tennessee, Cate-Russell Insurance is an affiliate of Alera Group company Propel Insurance and provides a variety of business insurance, personal insurance and employee benefits solutions for clients. The Cate-Russell Insurance team specializes in providing personalized guidance to help clients find the right coverage.
- Foa & Son, an international insurance broker. Founded in 1861, Foa & Son is an agency of international insurance brokers based in New York City. Foa & Son maintains strong commercial practice groups in multinational clients, food and beverage, real estate and construction, hospitality, supply chain, fine art and specie, manufacturers and distributors, professional service firms, not-for-profit, automotive, life science, technology and municipalities. In addition, Foa & Son provides white-glove Private Insurance Advisory services and Corporate Benefits Consulting services to prestigious firms across the United States.
- Gales Agency, Inc., an independent insurance agency providing a full line of insurance products including home, business, auto and life insurance policies to protect families. Gales Agency, Inc., based in Oceana County, Michigan, proudly represents top-rated carriers, providing personal insurance, business insurance, health insurance, life insurance, pet insurance and Medicare.
- Heritage Risk Management, a network of independent risk management agencies serving clients throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico. Heritage Risk Management’s network of independent risk management agencies offers a broad array of products and services, tapping into a deep well of expertise from across the organization to offer thought leadership in risk management across a myriad of industries, including agriculture, banking, oil and gas, construction, transportation, professional services, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, medical malpractice and employee benefits.
- Vital Incite, a healthcare consulting firm offering the insight needed to strategically align healthcare resources to meet the needs of employee populations.
