Acrisure Names D. Michael Sherman as Strategic Advisor

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Acrisure, LLC today announced that D. Michael Sherman has been named as Strategic Advisor of this rapidly growing top 15 U.S. insurance brokerage. He reports to Greg Williams, CEO & President of Acrisure.

Mr. Sherman, brings over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry to his new role at Acrisure. He began his career at insurance brokerage Dawson Insurance, Inc. in 1978, rising to serve as Chief Executive Officer since 1986. He continued as Dawson Platform Chairman and CEO, following its sale to AssuredPartners, from 2012 to year-end 2015, as well as serving as Vice Chairman of AssuredPartners, Inc. He earned his B.A. from Alma College in Alma, Michigan and received his MBA from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.
