A.M. Best Senior Managing Director to Join Microinsurance Panel at the LIMRA-LOMA Latin American Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A.M. Best Senior Managing Director Andrea Keenan will participate in a panel discussion at the 2018 LIMRA-LOMA Latin American Conference, which is being held Oct. 31-Nov. 1, 2018, at the Marriott Marquis in New York, NY.

The theme of the event is “Strategic Transformation: Changing Perspectives to Generate Growth,” and the panel in which Keenan will join will highlight how different markets are advancing microinsurance initiatives that are sustainable and profitable. Titled, “Profitable Microinsurance Solutions,” the panel session specifically will focus on the reasons why microinsurance products have found success in some markets, but struggled in others, as well as look at ways to improve insurance penetration among low-income populations. The session is set for Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. (EDT). Keenan heads up industry relations for A.M. Best and oversees its relationships and communications with insurance and financial service industries throughout the Americas, including the United States, Latin America, Canada and the Caribbean. She also serves as vice chair of Microinsurance Network’s board of directors.

LIMRA and LOMA, trade associations that provide resources for the insurance and financial services industries, have designed the event for senior executives from these industries that do business in Latin America. The conference will cover areas such as economic trends, digital partnerships, behavioral finance and alternative distribution.
