Wolfgang, Lankford indicted on drug charges

Sept. 22--Two individuals who were arrested during a July drug roundup have been indicted by the Bell County Grand Jury.

Huston James Wolfgang, 45, of Pineville, and Johnny Dale Lankford, 39, of Arjay, were both indicted on second-degree trafficking a controlled substance.

Wolfgang and Lankford were two of the eight individuals who were arrested during the roundup. Wolfgang was indicted for allegedly trafficking hydrocodone, a schedule III narcotic. Lankford was indicted for allegedly trafficking buprenorphine, also a schedule III narcotic.

The indictment states both arrests involved the use of confidential informants by the Bell County Sheriff's Department. Deputy Shane Stewart was the investigating officer on the case.

Dennis W. Rice, 60, of Arjay, and Micky Harold Saylor, 37, of Pineville were also indicted for allegedly trafficking drugs. Rice was indicted on first-degree trafficking a controlled substance. His indictment states he trafficked oxycodone.

Saylor was indicted for second-degree trafficking a controlled substance. He allegedly trafficked buprenorphine.

Stewart was the investigating officer in both cases. The use of a confidential informant was used during the case, according to the indictment.

In other court news, Charles Partin, 39, of Pineville was indicted on two separate cases recently. On the first, he was indicted for theft of a motor vehicle registration plate/decal and for being a persistent felony offender.

According to the indictment, Partin was in possession of a motor vehicle bearing a registration decal belonging to Raymond Pryor. The decal had been reported stolen.

On the second indictment, Partin was indicted for theft by unlawful taking, second-degree criminal trespass, tampering with physical evidence, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and for being a persistent felony offender.

Recent arrest and charges include:

-- Ginger Pendleton, 22, of Cumberland, first- and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, driving on DUI suspended license, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a bench warrant;

-- Donovan Lee Ward, 37, of Middlesboro, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance and possession of marijuana;

-- Nancy Naomi Tolliver, 22, of Partridge, two counts of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession drug paraphernalia;

-- Terry L. Miracle, 51, of Middlesboro, first-degree wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating on suspended/revoked operators license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and operating an ATV on a roadway;

-- Thomas Christopher Hubbard, 27, of Pineville, third-degree burglary, violation of conditions of release, second-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served two bench warrants;

-- Joshua Shane Henderson, 24, of Middlesboro, third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking and was served a bench warrant;

-- Walter Brock Frazier, 53, of Corbin, first- and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, excessive windshield/window tinting and failure of owner to maintain required insurance;

-- Raydin Edward Faught, 19, of Middlesboro, theft of identity of another without consent, second-degree fleeing or evading police and was served two bench warrants.
