Willis Programs of New Hampshire, a unit of Willis Group Holdings, the global insurance broker, this week introduced a customized insurance solution for the equipment rental industry.
Rent-itGuard is designed to meet the insurance and risk management needs of businesses engaged in the rental of equipment including light and heavy construction equipment, high-reach devices such as aerial lift platforms, equipment rental for homeowners, and party supply and special event rentals.
The Rent-itGuard program provides comprehensive property/casualty, general liability, auto and specialty insurance coverage including inland marine, crime and umbrella with terms and conditions specific to the rental industry. In addition to traditional theft coverage, Rent-itGuard offers extensions of theft coverage to include theft by fraud, deceit or conversion. This coverage is combined with a proactive approach to loss control and highly responsive customer service.
“Rent-itGuard is the result of focused research and development and offers a competitive alternative to rental industry insurance programs currently in place,” said Gerald Cecil, practice leader for Rent-itGuard. “The businesses in this sector vary widely creating unique insurance coverage and customer service needs. We are thrilled to provide a new approach to serving the needs of the rental business marketplace.”
Willis Programs serves independent commercial insurance brokers with more than 30 insurance programs tailored for a variety of industries. For additional information, visit www.rent-itgiard.com.
