WebSafety, Inc. Partners with AAA Northwest Ohio

--Deal Marks the First Time WebSafety, Inc. Has Partnered with a Leading Auto Insurance Provider to Co-Market a Solution to Stop Texting-While-Driving--

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- WebSafety, Inc.(OTCBB: WBSI), the leading provider of mobile and Internet safety technologies, today announced a marketing partnership with AAA Northwest Ohio to co-market the company’s CellSafety mobile application software to AAA Northwest Ohio members.

AAA Northwest Ohio will begin marketing the CellSafety mobile application to its members on October 19th and continue this effort through January 19, 2011. During this time period, AAA Northwest Ohio members will be offered the CellSafety service at a discounted monthly rate of $3.99 for unlimited phones within the household. The goal of this marketing period is to measure the acceptance of the CellSafety application among Northwest Ohio AAA members with the intention of expanding the marketing of the CellSafety application to all AAA members nationwide.

Using a phone’s GPS system, CellSafety detects when a vehicle is moving at speeds above 10 mph and blocks all texting, email and web browsing (including chat, IM and Skype). With compatibility on more than 60 smart phones and on all of the major wireless carriers in the United States as well as the three wireless networks in Canada, the CellSafety mobile application is the most widely available solution to help consumers stop the dangerous and often deadly practice of texting-while-driving.

“There is no doubt that the CellSafety mobile application saves lives by preventing drivers from texting-while-driving,” said Bob Walters, president and CEO of AAA Northwest Ohio. “By partnering with WebSafety, Inc. we are providing more than just cost-savings to our members; we are providing a viable way to make the roads safer for us all.”

The CellSafety mobile application includes additional features which inhibit texting in school via “No Texting Zones” in order to prevent scholastic cheating as well as notifications in real-time if users are sending or receiving inappropriate text messages. CellSafety is also effective in reducing corporate liability for vehicular accidents caused by an employee’s improper use of a company-issued mobile device while driving.

“WebSafety, Inc. is extremely proud to partner with AAA Northwest Ohio to help put an end to the needless trauma caused by the senseless act of texting-while-driving,” said Rowland Day, CEO of WebSafety, Inc. “Drivers who text-while-driving are eight times more likely to cause an accident than drivers who don’t. How many more statistics do we need and how many more lives need to be lost to prove that texting-while-driving is dangerous? CellSafety provides a way to protect all drivers from this deadly social obsession.”

WebSafety’s suite of services are available starting at $9.99 month, with discounts available for commercial and governmental accounts. For more information please visit www.mywebsafety.com.

Larry Lipman of Alliance Network, Inc., a preeminent provider of membership services for acquisition and retention programs, was responsible for connecting WebSafety and AAA in order for the companies to secure this partnership.
