Nov. 27--A Watertown man was sentenced Tuesday in Jefferson County Court to 3 1/2 years in state prison for possessing heroin in February.

Tommy L. Clark Jr., 32, also was ordered to undergo two additional years of supervision upon his release from prison after an Oct. 25 guilty plea to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He admitted that he possessed heroin with the intent to sell the drug within the county Feb. 7.

Mr. Clark was sentenced as a second felony offender, having been sentenced in County Court in June 2011 to three years in prison for third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, having admitted he tried to sell cocaine in Watertown.

In other court activity:

Ellana G. Nieves, 27, Fort Drum, pleaded guilty to two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny. She had been accused in a grand jury indictment handed up in July 2011 of using stolen debit cards to obtain goods or services in 2010. She is expected to be sentenced Jan. 13 to two to four years in prison. Judge Kim H. Martusewicz will mandate that she serve her sentence in the prison system's Willard Drug Rehabilitation Program. If an inmate completes the 90-day program, she serves the remainder of her sentence under parole supervision.

Eliesha M. Miner, 29, Carthage, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted assault. She admitted that she tried to stab Aaron Worden with a knife July 24 at his residence in the town of Pamelia. She is expected to be sentenced Dec. 23 to 1 1/2 to 3 years in prison. She will be sentenced as a second felony offender, having been convicted in County Court in June 2006 of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Judge Martusewicz will recommend, but not mandate, that she serve her sentence in the prison system's shock incarceration program. If deemed eligible by the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, she would spend six months in a military-style substance abuse treatment program and serve the balance of her sentence on parole.

Rebecca M. Campbell, 33, whose last known address was in Adams, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. She admitted that she stole cash and a laptop computer May 22 in Watertown. She is expected to be sentenced Jan. 22 to nine months in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and be ordered to pay $2,550 in restitution in the form of a civil judgment.

Kellie L. Belcher, 31, of 1130 State St., pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree attempted grand larceny as a result of three separate incidents. She admitted that she tried to sell heroin within the county May 20 and that on May 26 she possessed materials used to manufacture methamphetamine at a Bronson Street residence. She also admitted that on March 25 in the town of Brownville, she stole jewelry from her mother. She is tentatively expected to be sentenced Feb. 3 to no worse than a year in the PSB and five years' probation. She also will be ordered to pay no more than $10,000 in restitution.

Crystal A. Grady, 30, of 170 Academy St., pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted assault. She admitted that she tried to injure Adrian L. Miller by stabbing him May 31 at her residence. She is expected to be sentenced Jan. 13 to five years' probation.

Tyler J. Fisk, 24, Webster, formerly of Clayton, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree attempted grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He admitted that on Dec. 12 in the town of Clayton he tried to take a debit card from Amanda M. Taylor, Clayton, without her permission and that he damaged a vehicle belonging to Miss Taylor the same day. Police said at the time of the incident that he crashed the vehicle into a creek on Bald Rock Road while driving at an excessive speed. He is expected to be sentenced Jan. 17 to three years' probation and be ordered to pay a total of $4,559 in restitution to Miss Taylor and her insurance carrier.

Cindy L. Slate-Rogers, 57, of 11689 S. Main St., Mannsville, pleaded guilty to second-degree falsifying business records and a violation of state Public Health Law. She admitted that between Feb. 19 and Feb. 21 she unlawfully got a prescription refilled by giving a pharmacist false information in the town of Adams. She is expected to be sentenced Jan. 17 to a conditional discharge and be ordered to complete the Bridge program.

Jamie L. Countryman, 27, of 16904 County Route 53, Dexter, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass. She admitted that on June 18 she entered the Ashland Road property of Krista Yott in the town of Lyme without permission. Sentencing was set for Jan. 24.

Michelle R. Gentile, 46, of 132 William St., pleaded guilty to petit larceny. She admitted that on Sept. 20, with another person, she stole property from Walmart on Route 3 in the town of Watertown. She is expected to be sentenced Jan. 21 to three years' probation.

Jamie L. Thorne, 23, of 159 Winslow St., Apt. 2, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal contempt. She admitted that she violated an order of protection held by Brian M. Thorne by having contact with him in July in the village of Adams. She is expected to be sentenced Jan. 21 to an unspecified amount of time served at the PSB and three years' probation.

Christopher A. Wilson, 23, Fort Drum, pleaded guilty to third-degree assault. He admitted that, with another man, he caused injury to Kenneth D. Pleasant by striking him on High Street. Mr. Pleasant suffered facial fractures, police said at the time. Mr. Wilson is expected to be sentenced Jan. 21 to three years' probation.

Jason A. Valade, 30, whose last known address was 18685 Honeyville Terrace, Adams Center, pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal trespass as a result of three incidents. He admitted that sometime in September he entered the town of Adams residence of Travis Purvis with the intent to steal something. He also admitted that on Sept. 13 in the town of LeRay he stole a woman's camera. He further admitted that on June 9 he entered property on Goodnough Street in the town of Adams without permission. He is expected to be sentenced Feb. 3 to a conditional discharge and be ordered to complete the Bridge program.

Kevin M. Heuman, 24, Savannah, Ga., pleaded guilty by mail to fourth-degree attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a Glock pistol. Further information about the charge was not available from the court. He was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to forfeit the gun.
