WFG Capital Advisors Announces That Kathy Walker-Eich Has Joined The Firm As Principal

Addition Greatly Enhances Corporate Finance Capabilities and Establishes Chicago-Based Presence for WFG
HARRISBURG, PA - March 29, 2006 - WFG Capital Advisors LP (WFG), a leading investment banking firm for the insurance industry, announced today that Kathy Walker-Eich has joined the firm as Principal to lead WFG’s corporate finance services.
According to Robert Lieblein, WFG's President and Managing Principal, "Kathy’s capabilities add tremendous value to financing and lending solutions for our clientele. Whether clients are seeking to establish premium financing facilities; loans for growth and acquisitions; or perpetuating an agency through funding buy/sells or ESOPs; Kathy’s extensive industry and lending experience will help WFG’s clients maximize both their financial and non-financial goals. We are extremely proud that Kathy has decided to join WFG and truly believe that this addition to our team once again sets us apart from others in the industry in our ability to provide the complete package of financial services to our clients."
According to Steven Wevodau, WFG's Managing Principal, "The addition of Kathy further exemplifies that WFG is committed to providing its clients with highly skilled and experienced industry professionals. Kathy has spent a large part of her career in lending to the insurance distribution system and we believe is the most experienced professional in providing financing solutions to the insurance industry. Her skills and experience create a competitive advantage, which translates into extended service capabilities for our clientele."
Walker-Eich commented, "I am very excited about this opportunity to work with the professionals at WFG. By partnering with an industry leader with such tremendous market reach, financing solutions can quickly be made available across the insurance distribution system. While at FIRST Insurance Funding Corp (Wintrust’s premium finance subsidiary) I had the privilege of lending money to some of the most successful agents and brokers in the United States in order to fund their growth and succession planning objectives. Now, under the WFG umbrella, I will be able to take my loan program to new heights by not just providing senior debt consultation and placement, but also mezzanine debt and private equity for agents and brokerages requiring a more structured financing approach."
Walker-Eich will remain located in the greater Chicago area, operating WFG’s mid-west satellite office.
