VNA Health Group Board of Trustee Selected as CEO of Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center

Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Board of Trustees Secretary and Visiting Nurse Association Health Group Board Trustee, Thomas B. Considine, has been selected as Chief Executive Officer of Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. Considine is a longtime insurance industry leader who will bring evolution and innovation to Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center.

As Chief Executive Officer, Considine will work with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Counsel to expand the medical center's achievements and increase its clarity with state government, regulators and the community. He will also sit on the hospital board and will oversee physician relations, budgeting, staffing, contracting and the development and implementation of goals and objectives.

Prior to taking on this role Considine served as Chief Operating Officer at Magnacare and oversaw the company's operations, medical management, hospital and professional networks, customer service, claims, actuarial and analytics, information technology and legal and regulatory affairs. He has also served as Commissioner for the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance where he was responsible for regulating the banking, insurance and real estate industries.

Considine has served on the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Board for two years and Visiting Nurse Association Health Group Board for one year.
