United America Indemnity appoints senior vice president and CFO
Dec 10, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- United America Indemnity, a specialty property and casualty insurer, has appointed Thomas McGeehan as its senior vice president and CFO.Mr McGeehan will report directly to Larry Frakes, president and CEO of United America Indemnity (UAI) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, United America Indemnity Group.Mr McGeehan was appointed UAI's interim CFO in May 2008. He was appointed as UAI's vice president in February 2006 and as corporate controller in September 2005.Mr McGeehan joined UAI's predecessor companies in May 2001 as vice president and controller from Colonial Penn Insurance Company, a subsidiary of General Electric Financial Assurance, where he worked from 1985 until 2001.Mr Frakes said: "Thomas has been with the organization for over eight years, and has been an active participant in its development and evolution.
