Underground Inc. knocks off Affordable Home Insurance [The Destin Log, Fla.]

Dec. 07--Mark Zinger knocked in seven runs to lead Underground Inc. in a 28-25 win over Affordable Home Insurance in the Real Skills Softball League at Morgan Sports Center.

Zinger slapped a home run and two doubles for seven RBIs.

Underground jumped out to a 19-6 lead in the first three innings of play, then coasted for three, and finished big with nine runs in the seventh.

Ricky Cornejo hit a home run and a single for four RBIs for Underground, and Billy Roof doubled and singled for three RBIs.

Ethan Cole clobbered two doubles and two singles for three RBIs for Affordable. Chance Young hit three singles for four RBIs, and Drew Armacost doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs. Bean Jarrett hit a home run.

-- Unique Scapes 22, Prime Lending 9

At the end of two innings, Unique led 9-3. In the third, Unique exploded with 12 runs to put the game away.

Justin Ray hit two doubles and three singles for four RBIs for Unique. Chad Horton doubled and hit three singles for an RBI, and Josh Ring blasted a home run and two singles for four RBIs.

Joel Boxberger connected for two triples and a single for four RBIs for Prime Lending. Steve Schutt and James Jetton each hit two singles for an RBI.

-- Silver Sands 21, Miss Aegina 16

Silver Sands led 13-10 at the end of two innings.

Destry Harrison doubled and hit three singles for three RBIs for Silver Sands. Joe Kerns hit two doubles and two singles for two RBIs.

Jeremy Bullock belted a homer and two singles for Miss Aegina. Kyle Kriech tripled, doubled and singled, while JoJo Carlee slapped a home run.

-- 729-Hurt 23, Silver Sands 6

729-Hurt started strong scoring 12 runs in the first and 11 in the second.

Chase McGinnis smacked two homers and a single for four RBIs for 729-Hurt. Aaron Sweeney doubled and hit three singles for an RBI, and Travis Sweeney homered and hit two singles for three RBIs. Andrew Elliott ripped a home run.

Mike Dowling blasted two home runs for four RBIs for Silver Sands. Destry Harrison homered and singled for two RBIs, and James Keller hit three singles.

-- EOD 26, Remax Coastal 21

EOD left Remax behind early, outscoring them 20-3 in the first two innings.

Chris Bronson tripled and hit two doubles and two singles for four RBIs for EOD. Justin DeMass homered and connected for four singles for four RBIs, and Casey Schissler hit two doubles and two singles for an RBI.

Paul Davis tripled, doubled and singled for five RBIs for Remax. Kyle Ely homered and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Timmy Sallee tripled and hit four singles for two RBIs. Cory Hutchins smacked a home run.

-- 729-Hurt 23, Unique Scapes 5

729-Hurt took an 18-0 lead in the first two innings and then finished off the game in five.

Aaron Sweeney knocked in six runs on a homer, double and two singles for 729-Hurt. Daniel Spencer homered and tripled for five RBIs, and Kyle Kennedy doubled and hit two singles.

Jimmy Ross hit two doubles for two RBIs for Unique. Ryan Manthey doubled for an RBI and Randy Lara singled for an RBI.

-- EOD 25, Miss Aegina 13

EOD led 12-7 at the end of three innings.

Marcus Ferrell belted a home run and a double for six RBIs for EOD. Justin Bryant doubled and hit three singles and Johnathan Pfau slapped two homers.

JoJo Carlee homered, doubled and singled for five RBIs for Miss Aegina. Kyle Kriech doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs.
