Regan comes from the
PAYMENT INITIATIVE FOCUS
Since the Center was founded in 2008, it has improved healthcare value and spread change through three essential elements: delivery, transparency and payment.
Thanks to the Center's training and education opportunities and its peer-to-peer learning networks, great work already is being done in delivery and transparency. Now, the Center is putting more resources into the payment component through Regan's leadership. As program director, Regan will be working closely with payment leaders like
"There are payment initiatives going on across the country, but not necessarily in a coordinated fashion," said Regan. "We want to bring together disparate experiments at a hospital level and kick it up to an industry-wide level."
This new effort will help advance the Center's mission to change the current healthcare payment system into one that rewards health outcomes.
