Study To Reveal Competitive Pay For Health Insurance Sales Teams
Reading, Pennsylvania (August 23, 2013) - With the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) coming soon, health insurance companies are revising their sales strategies and business development approach to adapt to the changing marketplace. A study expected to be released in early October by HR+Survey Solutions (www.hrssllc.com), a compensation consulting and research firm, will provide health insurance executives with valuable data about competitive pay for their sales team.
Twenty-six health insurance companies are participating in the 2013 Health Insurance Industry Sales Compensation Survey. The study remains open to participants until September 6, 2013. Companies interested in participating should contact Judy Canavan at 866-252-6788 x 902 or [email protected].
"The results of the study will help health insurance companies validate their commission and sales incentive plans. Many of the positions at health insurance companies are in a state of change and retaining top talent while managing costs is a priority," said Judy Canavan, partner, HR+Survey Solutions. "In addition, optimizing the design of the sales incentives is mission critical to drive the desired selling behavior," she added.
The unique study provides industry specific, competitive sales compensation and incentive plan design information and covers all elements of pay (base salary, annual incentives/bonuses, commissions and long-term incentive eligiblity) as well as sales incentive plan design features.
"The survey results will help health insurance companies validate sales commission/incentive programs and ensure that they are paying appropriately. With the upcoming changes to health insurance, this has never been more important," Canavan said.
