Stuckey Insurance: Celebrating 75 Years of Service Excellence

PR Web

Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) June 17, 2014

Since opening its doors in 1939, the company founded by Jay Stuckey continues to be highly regarded within Arizona's professional services community as the premier provider of professional liability insurance, and was recently recognized by the Arizona Component of the AIA as their "Affiliate of the Year" for its efforts in serving the architectural community.

Stuckey Insurance was also selected by the Professional Liability Agents Network in 1986 to be the designated agency for Arizona, and continues to serve in that capacity 28 years later. In addition, insurers acknowledge Stuckey's unique expertise in its field. This is reflected by an unprecedented number of insurers who have chosen to allow only Stuckey Insurance to represent their products in Arizona.

"Stuckey Insurance has been and remains the number one choice for insurance in the Architect/Engineer Industry," said Erik Clinite, Partner of the architecture firm The Orcutt | Winslow Partnership. "They've been our broker of choice for more than 40 years, and have always been committed to ensuring we received the best coverage for the lowest premiums possible. I can't think of anyone else we would rather have provide this invaluable service."

"My father started Stuckey Insurance with the thought of differentiating ourselves from our competitors, not only by our client niche focus, but also by our passion of professionalism and service," said Larry Stuckey, who served as the firm's president for more than 40 years. "He impressed honesty, integrity and professionalism with our employees from the very beginning, and that remains our guiding principle today."

After a lifetime of providing insurance services to Arizona's business community, Larry Stuckey recently transitioned ownership of the company to longtime employee Mary Lodwick. "It was the obvious next step," offered Stuckey. "Mary began her professional career at Stuckey Insurance, has known our clients for years, and shares my father's and my vision of providing solutions to our customers. I couldn't be more pleased with the future of the company."

"Longevity and loyalty is a common theme at Stuckey. Many of our clients have worked with us for decades. Our employees average 12 years with the company and close to 20 years of experience in the insurance industry," said current Stuckey President Mary Lodwick. "By focusing on clients within only a few select industries, not only are we able to get to know the ins and outs of their business, but we also understand their overall liability exposure and risk."

While Mary Lodwick now runs the company, Larry Stuckey still remains engaged in the business he took over from his father nearly 50 years ago. "It's important for me to be in the office working with our clients, many of whom I have known for decades," said Stuckey. "What we do as a company makes a difference in our community, as well as in the lives of the people we serve."
