StoneRiver’s National Flood Services to Acquire CSC’s Flood Insurance BPO Unit

StoneRiver’s National Flood Services (“NFS”) subsidiary, a leading provider of outsourced technology solutions and services to insurance carriers and agents, reached a definitive agreement to acquire the flood insurance business process outsourcing (“Flood BPO”) unit of CSC. The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the month of May.
The acquisition combines the industry-leading technology and customer service capabilities of NFS with Flood BPO’s deep experience in government contracting and commercial BPO services. The combined company, which will operate as National Flood Services, will have over 700 employees dedicated to serving the outsourcing needs of its commercial insurance and government clients. NFS will assume Flood BPO’s insurance processing and management platform.
