StollerUSA’s Bio-Forge® Seed Treatment Offered by Wisconsin Seed Company

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) December 10, 2010

As grower demand for StollerUSA’s Bio-Forge seed treatment increases, one Wisconsin seed company is seeing an increase in popularity in the hybrids they’ve treated.

O’Brien Hybrids in Brooklyn, WI, has offered Bio-Forge seed treatment as an option to their growers for the last two years. Seeing increased yields three years ago, O’Brien’s made a conscious decision to offer the seed treatment as a standard option. Growers are impressed with the results seen and continue to buy O’Brien Hybrids treated with Bio-Forge because it’s simple and it works.

As conventional corn continues to increase in popularity and stacked hybrid prices continue to rise, the demand for O’Brien Hybrids conventional hybrids continues to increase. Bio-Forge seed treatment acts as an insurance policy offering extra protection at a lower price. Growers experience healthier, stronger plants throughout the growing season and higher yields at the end of the season.

“Bio-Forge seed treatment translates into a $25-75 per acre return for our growers,” explains Dan O’Brien owner of O’Brien Hybrids. “At that rate farmers can’t afford not to use it on their acres.”

O’Brien Hybrids is a family owned business. By adding the Bio-Forge Seed Treatment option to their line-up they help farmers increase their bottom line. Farmers report an increase in root mass and stalk diameter throughout the growing season. When yield data became available this fall, O’Brien’s calculated increased yields ranging from 5-15 bu/acre.

Operating in Wisconsin, Minnesota, northern Illinois and Western Iowa, O’Brien Hybrids offers Bio-Forge as a standard seed treatment option to area farmers. Growers outside of this region can easily incorporate Bio-Forge seed treatment by working with their local chemical and seed suppliers. Bio-forge is inexpensive and mixes well with other seed treatment chemicals making it easy seed treaters to apply.

In fact, to meet the growing demand for Bio-Forge seed treatment, StollerUSA is introducing BIO-FORGE ST. BIO-FORGE ST is specially formulated to be used only as a seed treatment. This new concentrated formulation reduces the application rate by half to only 2 oz/cwt of seed. It is designed to ensure ample and even seed coverage, ease of application through the seed treater, and enhanced compatibility with other standard seed treatment chemicals.

StollerUSA is dedicated to helping producers enhance yields by maximizing genetic expression. The result is enhanced marketable yield, improved return on investment and improved tolerance to disease and other stress. Only Stoller products contain Stoller’s proprietary technology that is proven to ensure optimum plant growth by maintaining appropriate hormone balance in combination with supporting nutrients. Tested by universities nationwide, Stoller’s unique formulations result in healthier, more productive crops that are better able to withstand stress and achieve their full genetic potential.
