Stewart Title and TELUS Financial Solutions Partner on Assyst Real Estate Platform

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TELUS Financial Solutions announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Stewart Title Guaranty Co., a leader in the Canadian Title insurance industry. Stewart Title has agreed to act as TELUS’ exclusive representative to advertise, market and promote Assyst Real Estate, TELUS’ proprietary web-based mortgage processing application for legal professionals.

Under this arrangement, Stewart Title will be the exclusive sales channel for Assyst Real Estate to the legal community, overseeing all sales and marketing efforts across Canada (excluding Quebec). TELUS will continue to maintain the technology supporting Assyst Real Estate.

Assyst Real Estate is a web application that electronically links lawyers and notaries to lenders as a means to streamline the way a mortgage transaction is instructed, processed and reported. Designed by the legal community, for the legal community, Assyst Real Estate enables lawyers and notaries to complete a mortgage transaction seamlessly by simplifying the way legal forms and mortgage documents are created, managed and processed.
