Steve Repak, CFP® and Tony Steuer, CLU, LA, CPFFE to Be Honored by the NFEC on Financial Educators Day

Tony Steuer, CLU, LA, CPFFE and Steve Repak, CFP® are members of the National Financial Educators Council Personal Finance Speakers Association and have been selected for recognition on Financial Educators Day.

Financial Educators Day recognizes the individuals who are working to improve people’s financial well-being. This special day of recognition takes place the last Friday of every April (April 25, 2014) and honors those who contribute to building more financially literate communities.

Tony Steuer is an advocate for insurance literacy and has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry ranging from sales, consulting, teaching to writing. Tony expressed that “Insurance is a complex subject that’s often overlooked in the financial literacy conversation and I’m honored to receive recognition on Financial Educator’s Day”

Steve Repak, CFP® is an advocate for financial literacy and a 15 year veteran in the financial services industry. He expressed, “As an Army veteran who left after 12 years of service with over $32,000 of credit card debt, I know exactly what it feels like to live paycheck to paycheck, worry about debt, and have nothing in savings or retirement. Just by changing the way I thought about money I was able to get out of debt and build my savings and retirement. I am honored to be part of the NFECs speakers association and think it is wonderful they are supporting financial educators.”

Both Tony and Steve are members of the NFEC’s Personal Finance Speakers Association. This expert speaker’s bureau supplies presenters who represent best practices in the field of personal finance to give presentations, keynote addresses, and training to organizations that seek to raise awareness and improve the financial abilities of those they serve.
