Securities and Exchange Commission v. Bruce and Nanette Cole: U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Civil lawsuit alleging securities fraud. Bruce Cole's answer denying the allegations filed last week. Nanettee Cole's answer pending.

Bruce Strauss, Trustee, v. Bruce Cole, Nanette Cole & Mamtek Group: U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Missouri. Motion for summary judgment pending. Defendants granted until Feb. 12 to respond.

Mamtek U.S. Inc. involuntary bankruptcy: U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Missouri. Controlling case for distribution of residual assets of Mamtek to bondholders.

Shelter Life Insurance Company, et. al., v. Morgan Keegan, et. al.: Cole County. Lawsuit alleging negligence and fraud in sale of Mamtek bonds. Discovery phase ahead of trial set for December. This case pits six Shelter Insurance entities and four investment funds managed by Waddell & Reed against investment banker Morgan Keegan, law firm Armstrong Teasdale, Moberly and the Moberly Industrial Development Authority, with third-party defendants Bruce Cole, law firm Cunningham Vogel & Rost LLC, and intellectual property appraiser Pellegrino & Associates.

Cromeans v. Morgan Keegan, et. al.: U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri. Class action suit upon behalf of all bondholders filed by John Cromeans of Alabama. Federal lawsuit alleging negligence and fraud in the marketing of the Mamtek bonds. Similar to Shelter Insurance case in Cole County.

Septagon Construction Co. v. Mamtek U.S. Inc., et. al.: Randolph County. Action to enforce mechanic's lien. Ruling on motion to dismiss pending. Septagon is owed $1.4 million for unpaid construction work on the Mamtek site. The case brings together equipment and construction suppliers, engineering firms and includes Moberly and UMB Bank.
