Stan McCormick receives lifetime achievement award

Stan McCormick, executive vice president, corporate counsel and secretary for Frost Bank and Cullen/Frost Bankers Inc., was honored with the 2013 Magna Stella Award for Lifetime Achievement by the Texas General Counsel Forum. He was honored at an awards dinner for the Forum's 15th Annual Conference of General Counsel Nov. 14 at the J.W. Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort.

The Magna Stella Awards program recognizes in-house excellence in Texas corporations, organizations and government agencies. The finalists were nominated by peers and selected by a panel of independent judges.

McCormick was honored for his many years of leadership and professional ethics both at Frost Bank and in the legal community.

Frost is the banking, investments and insurance subsidiary of Cullen/Frost Bankers Inc., a financial holding company with $23.5 billion in assets at Sept. 30.
