ServiceMaster All Care Restoration is Now a State Approved CE Trainer

PR Web

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) February 27, 2014

ServiceMaster All Care Restoration, the leading restoration and cleaning service provider in Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding areas, has become the first ServiceMaster franchise to gain state approval as a trainer for continuing education courses. A new law in Arizona that took effect for 2014 requires insurance agents to take continuing education courses to receive CE credits. ServiceMaster All Care Restoration became an approved training location to partner with their insurance agents in complying with the new state law. Their continuing education courses will start the first week of March.

This new law which requires insurance agents who work within the state of Arizona to take courses for CE credits is common in most states but new to Arizona. Not only is ServiceMaster All Care Restoration’s approval as a training center helping them and their insurance agents stay in compliance with the law, but it also gives them an opportunity to learn more about insurance. Insurance agents can take any continuing education course they want regarding insurance as long as the course and provider have been approved by the state. CE requirements can be met with any combination of approved classroom and web-based courses with no need to complete a minimum number of hours in a particular study area except for ethics. Some insurance agents may need to meet a minimum hour requirement for flood or long-term care if applicable to their work.

Credits from these continuing education courses are mandatory for insurance agents to complete before applying for license renewal. Agents can find CE courses along with the approved providers that offer the courses on Prometric’s “Arizona Licensees” webpage. They must call the course provider to learn more about the courses such as price and available times and to receive full credit; they must attend the entire course. Upon completion, insurance agents will receive a course completion certificate which must be submitted with the license renewal application.
