Selective Insurance Group Promotes John Bresney to SVP Officer Application Delivery Service [Professional Services Close – Up]

Selective Insurance Group, Inc., announced the promotion of John Bresney to senior vice president, Application Delivery Services of Selective Insurance Company of America.

In a release, the Company noted that Bresney joined Selective in 1994 as a management trainee and programmer. He has held various positions throughout Selective's IT organization, most recently serving as vice president, Business Relationship Director for Personal Lines.

The Company said it promoted George Neale to senior vice president, Chief Claims Officer. Neale joined Selective in April 2013. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president, Chief Claims Officer for Commercial Insurance for Liberty Mutual.

It promoted Joanne Dagostino to vice president, SIU, Recovery and Shared Services. Dagostino joined Selective in 2001 as SIU manager and was promoted to assistant vice president in 2002. She assumed responsibility for Recovery in 2011 and Claims Compliance in 2012.

It promoted Margaret Sherlock to vice president, Regional Director, Staff Counsel. Sherlock joined Selective in 2005 as a managing attorney. Prior to that, she was a managing attorney with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.

It promoted Kelly Sims to vice president, Field Operations Manager for Selective's New Jersey Region. Sims joined Selective in 1996 as an underwriting trainee and has been working in Field Operations for the last 12 years, first as an agency management specialist and then as territory manager for the last eight years.

It promoted John Willenborg to vice president, Field Operations Manager for Selective's Northeast Region. Willenborg joined Selective in 1997 as an underwriting trainee and has held numerous positions within the organization including commercial lines underwriter, agency management specialist and most recently as territory manager in Selective's Southern Region.

According to a release, Michael Zondory to vice president, Property and Catastrophe Claims. Zondory joined Selective in 2011 as assistant vice president, Large Loss Property Claims. Before that, he served as property general adjuster for the Hartford Insurance Company.

It promoted Shadi Albert to assistant vice president, Reinsurance. Albert joined Selective in April 2013. Prior to that, he served as assistant vice president at Towers Watson.
