San Antonio Chiropractor Offers Additional Treatment Options for Auto Accident Injuries

San Antonio, TX (Vocus/PRWEB) March 22, 2011

Dr. Donald Phillips, chiropractor and owner of Dr. Phillips Chiropractic, Nutrition and Wellness Center in San Antonio, TX offers rehabilitative treatment for patients who have been involved in an auto accident. Dr. Phillips provides chiropractic care and other forms of therapeutic treatments to help patients recover from auto accident and sports injuries. In addition to helping patients recover from injuries, Dr. Phillips provides full documentation for insurance purposes and acts as a guide for patients to help them navigate the process of paperwork and recovery after a car accident.

Dr. Phillips has been a chiropractor in San Antonio for over 22 years. He has recently renewed his focus on patients who have suffered injuries and trauma from auto accidents. Dr. Phillips said, “A car accident can be both physically and emotionally damaging for patients and my intent is to help ease the physical pain and emotional stress by guiding patients through the whole process.” For patients who have been involved in a car accident, the San Antonio center provides chiropractic care, massage therapy, spinal decompression, cold laser therapy, vibration therapy and pain management.

In addition to working with auto accident injuries, Dr. Phillips provides chiropractic care to treat sports injuries, back pain, neck pain, and headaches. The chiropractor provides spinal adjustments to treat various types of pain and has a spinal decompression table to treat disc herniation. A disc herniation can cause constant back and neck pain that can worsen if untreated.

The San Antonio chiropractic office also offers massage and pain management therapies for patients. While chiropractic treatment focuses on musculoskeletal issues, massage focuses on the muscles and soft tissues of the body to relieve pain, eliminate stress and tension, and increase mobility. Dr. Phillips stated, “By offering both massage and chiropractic care in our office, we provide comprehensive care for patients to help them recover quicker and prevent future injuries.” Headaches can be caused by stress, tension, and spinal issues. The chiropractic office provides both massage and chiropractic adjustments to treat patients who suffer from headaches and other types of pain.

The chiropractor also designs pain management treatments for patients looking for alternatives to prescription medications or surgery. Dr. Phillips creates treatment plans to reduce and manage pain that may include a combination of chiropractic care, cold laser therapy, massage, and nutritional advice. Patients interested in pain management and pain relief can find more information about Dr. Phillips and the services provided at his office on his website http://www.drphillipschiro.com. First time patients can visit the “New Patient Center” on the website to see a step-by-step view of the chiropractor’s process. The website explains the three part approach to patient treatment that includes relief, restorative care, and continuing wellness care. Patients can also access articles on Spinal Decompression and Massage Therapy.

San Antonio patients who have suffered an auto accident injury, sports injury, or have recurring back pain, neck pain, or headaches have access to Dr. Phillips and his years of experience treating and managing pain through chiropractic care.
