"His communications skills are exceptional, and we received a very good audit this year," Burr said.
"He is maturing with the job. At this point he is content" to stay on as manager.
The council evaluated Dissette on a range of areas, with an overall rating of 4.8 out of a possible perfect score of 5.
Here is a breakdown of the average scores he received in the various areas: 5 in the areas of professionalism and communication with council; 4.9 in overall performance; 4.8 in intergovernmental relations and financial planning and budgeting; 4.7 in delivery of city services; and 4.5 in management.
