Rep. Miller Introduces Bill to Abolish National Flood Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, March 19 -- Rep. Candice Miller, R-Mich., has introduced legislation (H.R. 1194) to "terminate the National Flood Insurance Program and related mandatory purchase and compliance requirements."

The bill was introduced on March 14.

The legislation was referred to the House Financial Services and Judiciary Committees.
