Rep. Fortenberry Introduces Bill to Permit Insurers to Offer Catastrophic Coverage Plans

WASHINGTON, Nov. 27 -- Rep. Jeff Fortenberry, R-Neb., has introduced legislation (H.R. 3598) to "amend the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to permit insurers to offer catastrophic coverage plans to anyone."

The bill was introduced on Nov. 21.

The legislation was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
