WASHINGTON, March 22 -- The office of Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., issued the following news release:
During this week's installment of Pryor-Side Chats, U.S. Senator Mark Pryor and Rob Rash of the Mississippi Valley Flood Control Association talk about Pryor's success in removing a provision from last year's flood insurance bill.
According to Pryor, his provision prevented Arkansans who live behind sound flood control structures from purchasing costly--and unnecessary--flood insurance.
