Another development under the partnership is the integration of DocOrigin into ProTechnology's JetTrac BYOD solution which enables the capture of data directly via mobile devices and the ability to port those documents to SharePoint as well. As a result, ProTechnology has effectively bridged the gaps between mobile technology, legacy document generation and Microsoft SharePoint.
According to
"We'd had an increasing number of requests from our customers and partners to develop a bridge between traditional transactional document generation and SharePoint," said Roth. "Since we have been working with Eclipse and the DocOrigin product for several years, it made sense to use DocOrigin for generating business documents and pushing mission critical documents to SharePoint. Now clients can intelligently push system generated documents created by DocOrigin into the cloud version of SharePoint using our connector."
Eclipse CEO
DocOrigin is also part of JetTrac BYOD, an enabling connector between mobile devices and SharePoint, and Roth is excited about the growing opportunities the solution brings to customers and users. "The use of smartphones and tablets in business processes is on the rise, and we see this area growing dramatically, so again, working with Eclipse and DocOrigin we have been able to provide a much needed interface with JetTrac BYOD."
