Please be advised that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The solicitation requires photocopier supplies and services based on a price per copy charge. Contractor furnished services and supplies will be provided on an indefinite quantity basis with delivery to U.S. Embassy Tokyo and its Consulates located in Japan. The estimated number of annual orders is totaling a minimum of 127,400 copies and a maximum of 1,274,000 copies. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the U.S. Government. Major duties and responsibilities are to provide copier services on a price per copy basis. The U.S. Government will supply paper only, the price per copy price shall include: the usage charges of the proposed copier; insurance; all necessary consumables, including but not limited to toner, developer kits, fuser oil, unlimited repair services (emergency repairs and preventive maintenance) during the normal business hours set forth in the solicitation; and training of at least one (key) operator for each copier. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The U.S. Government plans to issue the solicitation in mid-August 2014. This solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps (Federal Business Opportunities). Please see the solicitation for the actual response due date. No paper copies will be mailed and no electronic proposals shall be accepted.
