Potier Joins Parsons as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer

PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 13 -- Parsons issued the following news release:

Parsons is pleased to announce that Timothy Potier has joined the firm as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. In this position, he is responsible for leading the strategy and growth of Parsons' information security program.

Mr. Potier has more than 15 years of diversified information technology (IT) experience including enterprise security operations, information assurance and compliance, risk management, program management, security governance, IT managed services, and executive leadership. Prior to joining Parsons, he was Operations and Security Practices Director for the Gulf Coast Division of an IT consulting services company specializing in delivering managed information assurance and security services for customers in the commercial, state, and local government sectors. Before that, Mr. Potier served as Chief Information Security Officer for a global defense and intelligence company providing innovative systems, products, and solutions to government and commercial customers worldwide.

Mr. Potier holds a master's degree in administration/information systems and a bachelor's degree in international relations political science, both from Louisiana State University.
