Pioneers blank St. Norbert [Telegraph-Herald (Dubuque, IA)]

Emilio Lopez notched a goal and an assist on Sunday to lead the University of Wisconsin-Platteville to a 3-0 home victory over St. Norbert.

Jake Tyler scored from 8 yards out early in the second half for the only goal the Pioneers (4-3-3) needed. Three minutes later, Lopez set up Cameron Weess for an insurance goal. Lopez scored his goal in the 80th minute.

Platteville outshot St. Norbert (3-5-2) by a 17-6 margin. Ian Christensen made four saves to earn the victory in goal.
