Lititz -based ELA Group Inc. named Lawrence L. Lawyer II a senior project manager with its civil/municipal engineering department. He is a professional engineer with more than 40 years of experience, most recently as vice president of Delta Development Group Inc. He has a BS in civil engineering from Penn State University.

Middletown-based Raudenbush Engineering Inc. named Rick Deitch a survey and computer-aided design and drafting technician with its survey division. He has nearly 27 years of survey experience. East Hempfield Township-based Warfel Construction named Conlan Swope assistant manager of operations. He will help oversee field employees and operations, as well as continue as a project manager. Derry Township-based Milton Hershey School named Peter G. Gurt president. He was senior vice president and chief operating officer. He also is a Milton Hershey graduate and president of the alumni campus advisory board. John Estey, who was interim president, will continue as executive vice president of administration with Hershey Trust Co.

York College named Karin Swartz assistant director of the York College Fund. She was a legislative assistant to state Rep. Kevin Schreiber and a resident director with the school. She has a bachelor's degree from Ursinus College and a master's degree in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania.
