PCI’s Wienecke Named Among The Hill’s Top Lobbyists

WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America issued the following news release: Nat Wienecke, senior vice president, federal government relations at The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) was named among The Hill's Top Lobbyists. David A. Sampson, PCI's president and CEO, issued the following statement:

"Nat Wienecke's inclusion on a list of some of Washington's most influential and effective advocates is testimony not only to his skill and hard work but also to PCI's success in being the leading voice for the P&C industry at the federal level.

"Since joining PCI one year ago, Nat has played a critical role in building support in Congress for the reauthorization of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act and communicating the industry's position and concerns on corporate tax reform, global regulatory convergence, and other issues. He ensures that PCI members are heard when policy affecting the industry is being considered and debated.

"Under his energetic leadership, PCI has embarked on a comprehensive plan to expand and coordinate our political engagement activities. Prior to joining PCI, Wienecke was the vice president of global government relations at JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he focused on domestic and international government relations. Previously, he served as Assistant Secretary for Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
