PCI Hires Brooke Kelley-Hunt Public Affairs Director for Southeast

CHICAGO, Aug. 27 -- The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America issued the following news release:

The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America is pleased to announce a new addition to its Chicago office, as Brooke Kelley-Hunt will be the new Director, of Public Affairs for the Southeast. Kelley-Hunt will be responsible for leading advocacy initiatives to help advance PCI's mission to promote and protect the viability of a competitive private insurance market for the benefit of consumers and insurers in several states to include: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas.

"We are excited to bring Brooke to PCI's Public Affairs Team. She will be a true asset, her experience covering hurricanes as a television reporter for the past eight years in the southeast region has prepared her for the mission ahead," said Marguerite Tortorello, PCI's senior vice president of public affairs."

"Brooke will also enhance PCI's efforts to tell the property casualty insurance industry's good story by expanding PCI's social media strategy and use of video communications."

Kelley-Hunt brings more than 10 years in the television field to PCI. She most recently was the director of communications and special events for Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia. Originally from the Chicago area, Kelley-Hunt graduated with honors from Loyola University in Chicago, and most recently completed her Master's degree in education from Capella University.
